BIP BEST PROMOTES INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE ON SUSTAINABILITY AND GLOBAL TRENDS

ESCE/IPS hosted another edition of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) “BEST – Beyond Sustainability Trends”, an international initiative that brought together students, teachers and European partners to reflect on sustainability, intercultural cooperation and contemporary global challenges.

As part of ESCE/IPS’ internationalization strategy, the program combined online sessions and face-to-face activities on the campus of the Polytechnic of Setúbal, promoting a collaborative and multicultural learning experience.

Throughout the week, participants carried out practical activities, workshops, project preparation sessions and final presentations, using participatory methodologies and working in international teams. The program also included moments dedicated to cultural sharing and the development of essential transversal skills.

The activities included hands-on workshops, pitch sessions and technical visits to the Port of Setúbal and SECIL, providing direct contact with business practices and challenges related to sustainability, logistics and innovation.

The program also included cultural and welcoming activities, such as campus visits, city tours, global flavours and moments of conviviality between students and teachers from the different partner institutions, reinforcing the human and intercultural dimension of the experience.

The BIP “BEST – Beyond Sustainability Trends” thus reinforces ESCE/IPS’ commitment to internationalization, pedagogical innovation and the training of students prepared to work in global and collaborative contexts.
