How do the Port of Gothenburg and Monvir combine deep-sea maritime connectivity with modern warehousing infrastructure?

In this session participants will explore how the combination of deep-sea maritime connectivity, an extensive intermodal rail network and modern storage infrastructure strengthens global market access for Swedish industry.

The session will feature Dennis Alfredsson, Development Director at Monvir, and Richard Mellgren, Senior Business Development Manager at the Port of Gothenburg.

Together they will discuss how the Railport Scandinavia rail network connects inland terminals with the Port of Gothenburg efficiently and sustainably, supporting high volume forest flows, reducing logistics risk, and improving both cost and emissions performance for the Swedish industry.

This event is organized within the scope of the Warehouse Management module of the Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Maritime and Port Logistics module of the Postgraduate Programme in Maritime and Port Logistics.
