Degree objectives
The Postgraduate Course in Controlling was developed to address a specific gap in the market for new professionals with in-depth skills in financial control. The primary need is for training in administrative and financial areas that support operational activities. Accordingly, ESCE, as a higher education institution with cross-cutting expertise in these areas, has developed this Postgraduate Programme, fulfilling its mission to provide training relevant to the labour market, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the business sector and the quality of employment.

Learning objectives and skills to be developed
The overall aim of the Postgraduate Course in Controlling is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the various topics associated with the field of Financial Control. More specifically, the course aims to enable students to acquire: financial knowledge, particularly in the areas of accounting, reporting, financial analysis and financial planning; skills in project management, investment appraisal and risk analysis; Skills in the use of digital tools associated with financial control, such as advanced spreadsheet techniques or the use of dashboards for financial control; Other general management skills, such as negotiation, leadership or team management skills.
