Degree objectives
The Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MEEC) is divided into two areas of specialisation: Renewable Energy and Power Systems (ERSP) and Computers and Cyber-Physical Systems (CSC). This Master's degree ensures the acquisition of professional specialisation through a high level of practical laboratory work and the completion of a dissertation/project with companies, thus promoting the integration of students into the job market. In this way, the Master's degree provides a high degree of versatility in the various areas of specialisation and, on the other hand, provides an integrated view of the problems associated with them, thus ensuring the ability to intervene in their different domains.

Learning objectives and skills to be developed
The objectives of the MEEC are to ensure that its graduates acquire and develop skills that provide them with: A significant increase in their professional performance; The ability to carry out research activities; The ability to work in teams and coordinate multidisciplinary project and development teams; The ability to teach in secondary and higher education and vocational training. In addition to the general skills mentioned above, each area of specialisation provides its own specific skills, which are highlighted below: The Area of Specialisation in Renewable Energy and Power Systems (MEEC-ERSP) aims to provide graduates with skills in the following areas: Design of: Energy processing equipment using static power converters; Electromechanical drive systems, namely for industrial installations and electric road and rail traction; Systems based on renewable energies; Other dedicated systems or equipment. Coordination, planning, execution and interpretation of the results of an electrical energy audit; Justification for a more rational and efficient use of electrical energy; Protection, management and operation of electrical networks; Analysis of the principles associated with voice and data transmission in electrical energy networks; Design and development of centralised technical management systems (home automation, services and industry).
