Objetivos
Students are expected to:
•Develop reading and comprehension strategies in the area of business;
•Become familiar with technical vocabulary (terms and concepts) used in the business/professional context;
•Understanding and discussing articles in the context of business;
•Produce texts in the context of business;
• Use critical reasoning when analysing business articles/documents;
•Acquire knowledge to present a topic by using PowerPoint;
•Improve team-work skills;
•Apply grammar structures in a correct way. -
Métodos de Ensino
Active methodologies (task-based learning), pair-work (in-class) and group-work (outside classes).
Students are encouraged to develop active learning strategies in the classroom (individual work and pair work). They are asked to form groups in order to develop their business projects outside the classroom. -

The teaching methodologies are intrinsically related to the learning goals. They encompass the fundamental dimensions inherent in the learning process of the English language: reading comprehension, listening comprehension and communication activities.
