  • Course objectives

    The Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management trains Human Resources Management professionals capable of intervening in different administrative and technical areas of the human resources function, understanding their implications at the level of individuals, organizations and society. The cycle of studies consists of a set of curricular units that aim to provide graduates with training based on the principles of interdisciplinarity (general training) in close articulation with the needs of specialization specific to the professional field and with the needs of the labor market (specific training).

    The Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management provides a solid training in the different areas (administrative, technical and strategic) of the human resources function, allowing access to a wide range of professional outlets. The study plan has a flexible structure that allows the student to orient his curriculum according to his interests and motivation and to respond to some specialization needs required for the exercise of his function, through the necessary and appropriate adaptations to the evolutions both in the area of Human Resources Management and Society.
    The existence of the Curricular Internship or Applied Organizational Project in the study plan is intended to be an opportunity for direct and continuous contact with professional practice in a real work context and an opportunity to develop skills in the field of scientific research, creating the basis for its understanding and development, with the aim of applying and developing scientific skills, developing in students the ability to enter the profession.

    Recognition of prior learning is carried out in accordance with the Academic Regulations of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

  • Admission and entry requirements

    Entrance Exams Two of the following exams: 04 Economics 17 Mat. Apl. Sciences Soc. 18 Portuguese Minimum Grades Application grade: 100 points Entrance exams: 95 points Calculation Formula Secondary school average: 50% Entrance exams: 50% Other forms of access: - Re-entry and Change of Institution/Course Pair Regimes; - Special Access Contest for Graduates Vocational Pathways; - Special Access Contest for CTeSP Holders; - Special Access Contest for Test Holders for People Over 23 years old; - Special Access Contest for Holders of Other Higher Education Courses; - Special Contest for International Students.
